One of the NPCs should sell an aquarium that is empty that you can place in your house or around the community - and you can add one of the fish you've caught into it and have a pet fish 🐟 !!

Could even function mechanically similar to the Stardew Valley fish ponds giving you an infinite source of one species of fish that's far easier to hunt than fishing in the wild. Aquaculture.
