Then the animals could be ranked as different animals and not in the order you captured them !

Can I bump this very old suggestion? 
Because now that I have 10 large barns, it's getting painful to try to scroll through the whole list of animals to find out who's sick or who still needs a name 
Please implement a way to sort & filter the list of animals in the menu so we can see all animals of each type grouped together (other sorts/filters could be nice, but this is what I need most)
