Multiplayer Marriage

I play this game with my wife and her parents. We would all love to be able to marry our REAL LIFE spouse in the game. I've heard all the stories about how this is possible but none of these claims have actual evidence to back them up. Bottom line... there is currently NO way to give another RL player an object. We have tried literally every possible way to give each other an object. It just isn't possible. AND THUS, neither is marriage.

With that said, please create a way for us to marry the person closest to us. Our spouse.

While it may sound silly or minimal, the ability to do something like this is one of the most endearing things that you could add. Right now it's the only thing that SV has over you. We're all playing this game about 6-8 hours a day and love it.

PS - Oh yeah, my wife would like to see a legendary Unicorn Horse!

Hello garnetnation! I have not tried it myself, but after speaking with the dev team these are the requirements to form a union with another player:

1. Craft a Union Wreath (using Pacha Tulips)
2. The player asking to form a Union must have a house upgraded at least once

You can then right click the other player with the wreath in your hands (or interact with them if you’re using a controller) and select the "Ask In Union" option.

Thank you! It worked. Our union is in 4 days.

Note: It should be stated that "while holding the wreath in your hands", you right click the player you want to marry. Since we all use a controller to play the game "right clicking" just seemed like a foreign concept. Instructions for this process would be quite helpful. I'd update the mini-wiki with a more thorough explanation but I am not able to post in that area.
