Search shows a lot of "generated-..." results

Hi, does anyone know why our Backstage search shows a lot of "generated-..." results? It seems like there's one of these for pretty much every entity in our catalog, and that they all represent "Location" entities.

I'm wondering if this behavior is common with Backstage out of the box, and what the best practice for getting rid of these is.

One of our developers suggested excluding "Location" kinds from the catalog in app-config, but I have a feeling that this is not the correct way.

Can anyone shine some light on this? 🙇‍♂️

This is standard for out-of-the box, and my team has not taken the time to filter them out.
These generated locations are part of the ingestion process. I would suggest reading up on the "The Life of an Entity". It talks a little bit about generated files in the Implicit Delete section.
