#Critical: Users Lost After Backstage 1.36 Upgrade

Hello, following an upgrade to Backstage 1.36, we lost some data (user data) in our PostgreSQL database when we deployed this upgrade in one of our environments. How did this happen? Did we forget to do something correctly? Do we need to run a specific backstage cli command?

We appreciate any answers you can provide given the critical situation we are facing.

  • from which version have you migrated?
  • what provider are you using for the user ingestion?
