#Question to the Devs (and anyone who cares)

My friend and I are currently developing a tool that overlays all possible map layouts. As players discover chests, they can mark them on the overlay, which will then reveal the locations of all standard chests, boss chests, blessings, and even the spawn point of the secret dungeon—directly on the in-game map. This overlay does not interact with or extract any game data; it relies solely on publicly available information.

Before dedicating further time to this project, we would appreciate feedback from both the community and, most importantly, the development team regarding the viability and fairness of such a tool. While we believe it does not violate any policies—given that similar static maps already exist—we recognize that providing this level of in-game guidance could present a competitive advantage. If the developers or community express concerns about its use or public release, we are more than willing to reconsider or discontinue development.

This is a tricky one.
Console players could, justifiably, argue they are at a disadvantage. I know maps exist as an offline resource, but I feel these are strangely more accessible than a PC-only overlay.

Devs should just add this as game feature for everyone empathy

I wouldn't use it because i dont like having to launch or install external tools but this looks like a cool project and I would be fine with other players using it
