How to Forge?

How to Forge ⚒️

  • Go to http://rtfkt.com,
  • Create an rtfkt account if you don't have it yet,
  • Connect your wallet to the website,
  • Go to Forge tab via inventory,
  • Add your size + shipping info,
  • ERC1155 will be burnt > and you get Forged ERC721 NFT

What if I don't Forge? ⚒️
You will lose out on the Physical Hoodie, there wont be another forging event

Once you receive your IRL hoodie you will connect your NFT to the NFC to authenticate the physical hoodie.

Hold onto those NFTs 🕊✔️

🛠️ Do I have to pay additional for forging?

No, the mint price includes forging, shipping, and any taxes inccured.

🛠️ Is the Clone Forging event only meant for Clones?

Only Clones can mint the respective collections based on their DNA. However, others can buy the minted NFTs off secondary marketplaces and then forge them.

🛠️ I own a Clone. What items can I mint and forge?

"There are two types of collections - 1 x Genesis and 9 x DNA/Drip. Genesis collection is available for every CloneX, DNA collections are restricted to corresponding DNA/drip of your CloneX. Please refer to the Lookbook for a detailed look at the collections and items.

For the Genesis collection, each Clone will be able to mint and forge 1 Tee for free, and then mint/forge 1 of each of the other items.

For each DNA/Drip collection, only Clones with the right DNA can mint/forge (e.g. Human Collection for Human Clones)

You can mint/forge up to 2 of each item in the DNA/Drip collections, e.g. 2 caps + 2 tees, etc. Murakami Drip Clones can also mint the Murakami Drip collection.

Intent is for our Clones to rock one, and stock the other!

🛠️ I don't own any Clone. Can I mint or forge the collections?

Our Clone Forge is only meant for Clones to mint. However, you can buy the minted NFTs off secondary marketplaces such as Opensea, and then forge it after on the forge site.

🛠️ Is there a total supply limit for any of the items?

All Clones who want to, will be able to mint the Tee and 1 of each of the other items in the Genesis collection, and 2 of each item for the corresponding DNA/drip collections. It is not FCFS so there is no need to rush. However, do remember to mint within the mint window, and forge during the forge window.

🛠️ What are the mint and forge windows?
Mint:

  • from Wed 31st August 5am ET / 11am CET / 6pm JST
  • to Wed 7th Sep 3:30 pm ET / 9:30 pm CET / 4:30 am JST

Forge (time TBC):

  • from Wed 7 Sep
  • to Wed 14 Sep

🛠️ What happens to the NFT when I forge my item? how do I tell that the NFT is forged

"The Pre-forged NFT ERC-1155 token will be burnt and you will receive a Forged NFT ERC-721 in return. Do keep the forged ERC-721 tokens as you will need them to link to the physical item NFC later on.

Note the different OpenSea collections in the official links.

Also - look out for the visual differerence:

🛠️ Should I keep the Forged NFT?

Yes, so that you can link the Forged NFTs to the NFCs of the physical items eventually, for future functionality.

🛠️ How do we know whether a Clone has claimed the free Tee and minted the other items yet? What if they only minted some of the items? Is there a way to check which ones were minted?

Please use the Mint Checker to see how many NFTs a Clone has minted from the total eligible number of NFTs (e.g. 5 out of total 21 eligible mints for a Robot Clone). Do note that this does not indicate exactly which NFTs (e.g. Genesis Tee, or AF1) have been minted.

🛠️ Is there another forging event for this collection? Can I keep my unforged NFTs?

We strongly encourage the minted NFTs to be forged during this forging event for manufacture and delivery. We cannot guarantee another forging event for this collection in the future.

🛠️ Where can I find the size chart for this collection?

Similar to AR Hoodie forge, you will find the product description and sizing chart for each item during forging at the forge site.

🛠️ I have a Murakami DNA clone, can I mint the Murakami Drip collection?

Yes, with the Murakami DNA clone, you can mint the Genesis, Murakami Drip, and Murakami DNA collections.

🛠️ Can I mint and/or forge the AF1s?

You can mint the AF1s but the AF1s cannot be forged during this forging event.

🛠️ Are there NFC tags for all items?

All items will have the NFC tags except the caps and socks.

🛠️ When will the items be delivered?

Most items are estimated to be delivered Q1 2023, but pants and jacket are likely to be in Q2 2023 (except AF1, not forgeable for now)

🛠️ Can I ship to different addresses?

You can choose a different shipping address for every forge session.

🛠️ Are there countries RTFKT doesn't deliver to?

Minters/forgers must confirm they are not subject to sanctions under the OFAC, UN, EU, UK or other applicable authorities. Failure to comply will void transaction and forfeit any refund.

🛠️ When can we and the creators get the 3D assets for the items?

Yes, the 3D assets will be available for holders of the items' NFTs, but at a later time.

🛠️ What can I do or not do with the 3D assets, once I get them?

🛠️ What if I need to make changes after I have submitted the forging details?

Let us see what we can do within the limited timeframe.

🛠️ Is there a delivery fee? Will there be import taxes?

The delivery fees and taxes will be borne by us - it is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to your address.

🛠️ Is the merch numbered?

The physical merch will not be numbered but each one will have a unique NFC chip that is numbered and assigned to that item, which you will then link to the NFT (except caps and socks)

🛠️ Where can I find the product description and size chart for this collection?

The product description will be available at the mint site during minting, and the size chart will be available at the forge site during forging.
