As we all know, the Kingdoms here live in lifecycles as much as any King or Lord to spare some time for their heir - be them competent or not. However, it would be rather unceremonious for such kingdoms to be put into the tomb without a proper rites behind it, don't you think?

With such in mind, I'm personally finding it an interesting suggestion to add Event for falling Kingdoms that would compliment their demise - one that is befit a King. The "End Game" Event which may involve relative to the plot events that have been recorded crucially destructive for the entire Kingdom and could've unfolded more fatal to every Lord of the Westeros with all the Game of Thrones. Be it the song of Ice and Fire, the High-Sparrows rearmed fanatics, or mayhap even a simple debt being a bit too high for all lands to pay out for the Iron Bank.

I know it may be a bit of an idea too upscaled to fathom for introduction, but I believe there is a chance for at least reinterpretation or discussion for alternative use of such scenarios to implement on. Be it the prolonged idleness of a Lord, or an entire Allegiance with Lieges and Bannermen.

Alright, I may have written a bit too fancy, but my point is - some kingdoms like the latest 1751 have been "dead" with lack of any courtesy in Events, so my initial thought was around at least somehow entertaining the Kingdoms under such state before the merge by creating Event tailored to the case.

As so to speak "last ditch effort".

This could be an Event formed to notify (at least those with who have notifications enabled, which by the way is quite useful for those who wish to be involved in interesting events), create a feeling of impact from actions(or lack of them), and impose consequence which is natural to the world within the Game.

For example, we have on our hands a Kingdom of which players became idle - even log of actions done by players feels empty. Suddenly, a notification pops on your phone. "Many against the Few!". And Instead of swathes of event monsters/bandits/elite enemy being scattered throughout the map of Westeros, His High Holiness the High Septon organizes attacks on Seats of Power, the Allegiance leaders, and single Lords alike. The attacks of militants would/can come in waves, and most weak lords would fall within the first wave without help. Every defeated by the "purging mob" will automatically "flee" to another kingdom with no resets or penalty(unless wished otherwise by dev team for a "clean slate" scenario made).

This however can be stopped either by having all players finally starting to react to event by removing organizing mobs who would march to/positioned next to them or destroy the Elite who before the launch of the "purging mob" would be holding a unique Seat of Power which can be held temporarily as reward for defeating.
