#Accumulative Shadow looks bad
15 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
do you have a light in your scene?
It doesnt make sense that the black floor is a shadow... it looks more like youre missing a floor texture or something
is your light inside the room?
does the floor change at all when ou move the light around?
Do you have .castShadow and .receiveShadow set on the meshes you want to cast and receive
I dont know r3f, but also you usually have to do renderer.enableShadows = true and a bunch of other stuff
The walls are blocking the accumulator shadows..
Use contact shadows instead and see
The walls are blocking the light.. So shadows look fully black...
Experiment with a simple cube or model and test all the shadow techniques and then try using it on this building
Just think of how a light works
the light needs to be inside the building
No you want lights inside the building.. to be able to see inside the building
If you still have that lamp scene above, load your warehouse model in the lamp scene and see what happens
So put a cube right next to your model and see if its lit up, or casts shadows etc
has no cast shadow seems like
