Multiple N8AO passes? | Three.js | Page 1

I'm enjoying N8AO, many thanks to the developer(s).

I'd like to do 2 passes, one for large soft details and one for sharper highlights. But When I use 2 N8AO passes in a row, it seems the second pass overwrites the first one. When I use a N8AOPass and then a N8AOPostPass, the screen is black. Any tips?

n8aopostpass can be chained

n8aopass cannot

#

so you can use two n8aopostpass if you desire

#

but n8aopass (as of now) is a one-and-done deal

mainly due to technical limitations

@peak vapor One more note -

I did get two N8AOPostPasses working together with pmndrs/postprocessing, but when I added an EffectPass with SMAA after that, it overrode the N8AO passes - they didn't show at all.

When I disabled the second N8AO pass, the first one showed through and the SMAA worked fine with it.
