#Tricky transformControls cases

Hello, is there a way to put a rotate gimbal (transformControls), that is attached to a mesh and by default at its center, to the top right with a fixed size/position just like in the blender ui ? I've tried modifying its domElement to position it absolutely on the top right but it doesnt work and as long as it's binded to its mesh/in the scene it'll get affected by the mesh rotation/camera zoom. I guess I'd basically need it to be in a 2nd small top right scene but still binded to its mesh in the 1rst scene which I don't think is possible..
Also is it possible to hide the additional yellow gimbal in rotate mode ? It disappears if I put to false any of she showAxis but I want them to stay and if I modify the material of the "E" named child (which is the yellow gimbal) to be invisible it works at first but then comebacks if I put my mouse on the transformControl.
