I don't think almost any node development environments serve up the node modules folder by default

The piece of code that imports that example script and a description of the development environment that bundles your scripts together is necessary for anyone to give you any amount of help.

Otherwise, most development environments don't work with a leading slash when importing packages installed through node modules
