Nope, you're not "missing" anything EXCEPT for finding a source of information that "works" for you... Not sure what your LD is but I have a daughter with dyslexia and I KNOW that some approaches "just work" for her and others (normally traditional) don't.

So I would suggest keep looking for other sources/teachers that might present information in way that helps you digest it.

Also, with programming in general EVERYBODY struggles with some aspects - don't beat yourself up about it, it's normal and eventually things just start clicking...

Now, specifically with loops - is there something I can try to help explain or clarify for you?

Aha, ok... well would you like me to attempt to write up a little something to help you with arrays?

The best way is not videos or tutorials or docs

I've struggled a lot with JavaScript and have been learning it for a long time. In my experience, the most important thing is to stick to just one learning source. For me, that was Scrimba. Too much information and advice from multiple sources can be overwhelming and lead to confusion—even a feeling of paralysis. Maybe that's the case for you too, so I highly recommend sticking to just one source.

I think the biggest problem with learning programming overall is the abundance of learning sources. On one hand, it's a blessing because there's so much valuable information available. But on the other hand, it can also be a curse.

I completed every JavaScript challenge on Scrimba at least ten times, and whenever I felt stuck, I broke the challenges down into smaller pieces to understand them better. My biggest hurdle was not focusing enough on mastering the content before moving on. Finally, with this technique, I was able to move forward.

Wishing you the best in your studies! If you ever need help or further explanation, feel free to DM me. Best of luck!
