with the solo projects and deploying to web -- do you just publish with netlify or is there a way I can collect the projects that I do on my github?
I just got a github recently and I'm not sure how you show projects on there. I would really like to start building a portfolio on there if I can.

On a project per project basis, you can put links to both the deployed site and the GH repo on your portfolio (if you want the code to be publicly available of course).
I host on Netlify, but you can use GitHub Pages too. Doesn’t matter.
