#Container App Environment disappeared over the weekend

Hello everyone,

I have an azure account that was moved from free to paid over the weekend by a colleague.

When I arrived this morning my container apps and container app environment were no where to be found.

Vnet, subnets, and other related resources appear to still be in tact.

I’ve checked the resource group activity log and can’t for the life of me identify the point in time where CAE and CA may have been removed from the environment.

I am giving up on that specific CAE and attempted to recreate it, however all orphaned resources from the original CAE are preventing a smooth recreation. Azure support is advising me to remove all deny permissions from a resource group that appears to have been created by legion and I only have read access. The successful deletion of that RG will supposedly let me recreate the CAE without issue.

Do I need to fork over the 100/mo for extra support or is there a resource someone could point me to so I can work my way through this

Did you do what they suggested? It sounds to me like you're asking for a second opinion without trying their suggestion ? 😄

I should’ve clarified a bit further, I’m the owner on the account but I cannot delete the deny permissions they are referring to. :/

#

I just have read permissions and receive an error when trying to remove the deny permissions

Can you dump the RG and start in a new one?

I can do that yea, and probably will end up doing that today

I'm the most confused about where the heck my container app environment went, without being recorded in the activity log of the RG it's in

Just to update the thread here. I went ahead and upgraded to standard support and have been working with their agents since about 10am central. They're still working on the issue. Will update with results.
