You can try Azure Code Signing like the description says or you could buy a cert from a 3rd party like Sectigo.
Sectigo will make free cert ? all companys/webpage i check already .. need pay. and it was not cheap
im on webpage.. and its look like need to pay 🙂
its 500$ cost from them. im searching free.. if that possible
Microsoft Respond :
The binary and all of its Portable Executable (PE) files must be digitally signed with a code sign certificate that chains up to a certificate issued by a Certificate Authority (CA) that is part of the Microsoft Trusted Root Program. You can join private preview of Azure Code Signing which is free offering in private preview for you to code sign your app. For more details, click here or reach out to [email protected].
If your EXE or MSI cannot comply with Microsoft Store policy 10.2.9, you can consider repackaging your existing EXE or MSI to MSIX format. Microsoft Store offers many complimentary benefits for MSIX format such as code signing, hosting etc. For more details, click here.
You can run your EXE or MSI installers through MSIX Packaging Tool and obtain an MSIX package that you can submit to the Microsoft Store as MSIX packaged app. Note that you have to delete your app name from existing Win32 app in Partner Center in case you want to use the same for MSIX packaged app.
The following packages are affected:
So if i understand correctly i should be abble to cert my program for free in Azure platform
Is that correct?
Currently im stuck on Azure.. they .. like want me to "register" again.. even if im already loged.
but they ask for company taxid
