go to the subscription and give them contributor

if you wanna step it up a level, create a resource group and give the access on that level instead

I tried to give Contributor, however, the next is blurred out and there is

click on the role and on the bottom click next

and blue buttom on bottom

and maybe dont share subscription ID and the persons name publicly
