looking at the building autobuyer code, i found 2 contradicting things:

so, here's what happens:

  • getCostInternal doesn't have the 1/8 DR implemented inside it at all from what i can tell
    instead it uses the scaling from this screenshot which is a lot harsher than the 1/8 DR in this section of the game(it makes the cost go from <e17 to >e25 basically instantly)
    when the producer cost delay becomes >4e9, this scaling doesn't apply to the cost calculated for 1e15 buildings, so the cost of 1e15 buildings becomes very low
