Hi everyone. I am a digital marketer and web designer. I do a lot wtih local seo and a pain point from some of my clients is their businesses may seem "hidden" due to the location of the building or where they are in the building. So for example Joe's accounting is on the 2nd floor but the door is hard to find because it's in between two big retailers, and it's an upstairs off above those retailers. Customers have a hard time finding him because of this. So my thought is creating a photo-realistic interactive map that I can either use on the website OR in Google maps to assit users with finding the location. I know there is like 3D tiles but I'm having a hard time getting started with GMP and trying to figure this all out. Eventually will branch it into a better resource but trying to understand the basics like this. Any support is welcome!

You can add custom markers (pins) and polygons/polylines (to draw the path from the street, up the stairs, and to Joe's door) that are integrated into the 3D scene.

Once the user is at the building, the 3D map can transition to a close-up, or a separate map can be used. For a single floor (like Joe's Accounting on the 2nd floor), you can take a 2D floor plan image and overlay it directly onto the base map using a GroundOverlay class.
