When I put the broadcaster in my tool wheel and try to use it nothing happens. I've tried to add every kind of fertilizer into it as well to no avail.

Was this fertiliser you purchased or made? I have vague recollections of purchased versions needing to be opened before they will go into the broadcaster. Also fun fact: ||you can put seeds into it as well.||

Yup, I have added all types of fertilizer and seeds. I also tried using it without anything in it, and it didn't even tell me it's empty like it should

If you would like to send over your save file id be happy to take a look incase it has to do with your save file 🙂
My best guess is that it has something to do with the steam deck? Unfortunately I do not have a steam deck to test this on. Another thing you could try is resetting your controls in the settings incase something accidently got mixed up there.

For your save file? you find that in you computer files Documents>RainyGames>Sunnyside
then just send over the save file. (will be .dat file) it should be named your characters name. You might need to zip it first if the file is too big to send over 🙂 Feel free to DM it if you prefer
