I think there’s a misunderstanding about this. This game is not supposed to emulate similar games. It’s its own game with farming sim and relationship mechanics.
The inspiration for it stems from the Persona series along with a side of Fruits Basket style romance - which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
There are other farm sims out there that will give you the “classic” experience. SunnySide does things differently.
