Vehicle Inventory / items disappear when quick adding to stack that would overflow

I was putting stacks of the same items into the bike vehicle inventory and noticed one stack was 50 items.
I took a stack of 100 items and did the quick move action. Then the whole stack of 100 disappeared.
The stack of 50 became 100. But it would seem a stack of 50 went into the void.
