(Apologies if this has been mentioned; tried searching but couldn't find a similar post ^^)
If someone asks you to hang out and you don't respond at all, they will send another text many hours later with confirmation dialogue like "Sure" or "Looking forward to it" with no further action 🤔
(i also swear i didn't ignore anyone on purpose, i was busy fishing lol)

Yes this is a known thing. Not necessarily a bug though. They need to send you some type of follow up message after the invite, it would be the same response if you were to reply no to the hangout. If they dont send you that message i think it messes up the text system / locks you out of new texts from them 🙂
Switching to a QOL suggestion just since its working as intended. But it could be looked at later on to change the way its worded or something maybe!
