My friend just cannot seem to get crossplay to work.
For reference: we both are playing on the Steam version. In G1 it worked perfectly fine. Now when she tries, she gets the "Crossplay Unavailable" with the link. The option to enable crossplay is not accessible in the options menu either.
She has tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, going through Xbox permissions, verifying game files, launching from the Xbox app, unlinking and relinking her Steam account to Xbox, and the result is still the same. Crossplay just can't be enabled and we can't play together. We are at a total loss and would really appreciate ANY tips, even revisiting things just to try and make it work! We got it to work once a long while ago, but it broke again so I have no idea what to do. Please help! We really want to play!
