Gonna state out all the details leading up to today.
So on the 1st of August I purchased gamepass and began downloading the game. Fast forward to the installation finishing, didn't decide to test it afterwards.
Then the next day on the 2nd I goto play the game with a friend but apparently it needed to update. However there wasn't any update that I was able to find occurring that day. I tried to ignore it and just start the game anyways but I couldn't play without updating. That's when it changed and told me I needed to download a 20 something gb update. (I don't remember the exact amount but it was the same as the folder size for the game installation at the time.) I'm like okay ill let it reinstall itself but this time ill test it to make sure it works. This time after it finishes, I was able to successfully start the game without any issues. Then played the next couple days.
Fast forward to the 8th following after the patch that went out on the 6th I went to go download the update and.... once again it tells me it needs to redownload 20gb of files. So I let install overnight and goto test it this morning and it just goes back to installing, saying there is an update. (another 20gb) I can clearly see the folder in which it installs too and that all the files are there. Any advice?
