I'm working on updating our system's navigation. We offer interactive bike routes accessed by two physical buttons. A small bike icon shows where you are. But, some icons lack text, which can be confusing. I'm considering using an accordion navigation, but it might mess up the bike indicator. What do you think I should do?

I would actually say don't do the bike icon. This will be more basic but I recommend making the selected item white, or make the symbol and text much bolder, or make the borders thicker, or make the whole box bigger, pushing the others out of the way and scaling up the text and icon. any of these options I think would give the users a quicker way to see where they are.
cuz perhaps they don't notice the icon or don't see it due to vision impairment. It is fairly thin. Maybe if you made it thicker at least?
