Hey guysI want to delete a Figma file from "shared files" but I can't see this option

Are you the owner of the file / the team it is in if it is in any? I would assume that some of the files in shared files might not have the delete option because you dont have the required permissions for that. If you dont want to be associated with that file anymore, then:

1. open the file
2. click share
3. go to your name, and select "leave"

Possible I access this Figma file from another laptop using the same email, so that I can potentially delete it, but only from the laptop where I initially joined?

If you leave the file as mentioned above, that is basically you removing yourself from it

Im just confused. Could you tell me what account did you remove from the file initially, and if that is the same account that you want to access with now?

The same account on any laptop should be able to do the same thing

I am not sure i understand what you want to accomplish/

If someone else is the owner, you can jjust leave the file and ten you wont have access to it

unless if they invite you again

and if you are not the owner of the file, you cannot delete it

if you are the owner of the file, then you can delete it
