#Exporting multiple frames into a multi-page PDF

I am trying to export multiple top-level, Letter Paper sized frames, into one PDF where every frame is a new page. How do I do this without exporting different PDF's and then compiling them in a third party application?

Hey @native hound ! I usually do this to get that! One thing about this that it will export everything that is on that page. So if you have other things on that figma page too, you might want to duplicate the ones you need on another page and export it from there.

Another thing is that it doesnt necessarily know the order in which you want them. I think it has some logic to it, but what I do to ensure the right order is that i just put the on click navigate to interactions between them in the right order, and then it is always correct!

thanks! i just made a "Export Airlock" page where i copy the layers and the export like this. i have no clue what the logic is but so far just putting them in the correct left-to-right order has worked great. such a shame figma doesn't have a better way to do this!

  • i wish we could print from inside figma

although i realize that figma is mainly a UI design tool and they have a very small audience who needs tp actually print things out.

but glad this one works!

Yeah most of the time it worked in the correct order for me, and then one day it didnt - i probably had some frames i didnt notice or something getting in the way, so now i just connect them to make sure haha
