#Cutting shape into multiple layers / pieces

I've created a shape with the pen / eclipse tool, it's just one shape in my layers, is there an easy way to turn this into multiple shapes / layers?

I'm attempting to create a new version of the 'original'.

Maybe u can achieve with anchor points but, wont be easy, Or you can try tracing on top of it,

Hmh okay I'll try creating seperate shapes by tracing on top of it, thought maybe there was an easier way to cut out anchor points which are connected

Once in the pen tool mode, you can select and delete the paths you dont want

#

after that select 1 whole shape, and cut it with Ctrl + X , then press Esc to leave the pen tool mode and press Ctrl V to paste it back

it will paste it as a separate vector
