Yeah a few ways you could do this then in that case!

Let me record a few options for you 🙂

#

Option 1 - Just put a white card behind the shape you now have with my first example.

Option 2 - Use the same technique to trip the top and bottom away form the arc.

Option 3 - Use a frame with "Clip contents" turned on.
