Hello all, new to deck building in MTG / Commander I've been watching a few videos on YouTube about how you should aim to build a deck.

The overall plan for most of these was the consensus blueprint from all the videos;
38 lands
6 aoe disruption
12 target disruption
12 card advantage
10 ramp
30 my core plan.

How does one edit this with an equipment focused deck? If it helps I'm building Lightning, army of one but I've only got access to FF cards for now as I've only started playing two weeks ago. Appreciate all the help in advance.

When you say “equipment focused deck”, are you wanting a wide equipping as many creatures as possible strategy or a tall throwing them all onto a big creature and hitting for hopefully lethal?

Also did you mean Ashe, Princess of Dalmasca, or Lightning, army of one?

Yes sorry Lightning army of one is the commander. But i was looking at cards like cloud midgar mercernary to put in the deck and some of the equipment from the limit break deck with her.
