This is a very, very small thing, but I think it would make more sense to make career bests based on the highest altitude, not highest placement. (Alternatively, make best altitude and placement separate.)
The reason why I think it should be based on highest altitude is because weekly placements are influenced significantly on who played during that week, which makes it not ideal to see your true peak. It should represent the best of yourself, and not represent what could be influenced by others and is out of your control.
My current career best was obtained when not a lot of people placed higher than it during that week. When I set a new highest altitude that was higher than that a few weeks ago, it didn’t override my now current career best, but I do remember it placed lower than my current career best, which leads me to believe that it goes off of highest placement.
