First off, thank you so much for getting the social media connections linkable, which means I can now link more of my accounts to TETR.IO for greater convenience! However, I did notice a handful of things upon linking these accounts...
X connections displaying the full display name AND the @ name makes the name overflow from the Connections box on browser Tetra Channel
This is probably not a problem for those with short display names and/or short @ names, but for those that use the extent of X's display names (up to 50 characters), this can lead to some boundary breaking hilarity on browser Tetra Channel. If there's a way to make it so only the @ name gets displayed, that could easily solve the problem, although I can only imagine that things involving integrations with X can be a bit finnicky...
# Steam connections mislabeled as Reddit on browser Tetra Channel
I don't have a Reddit account linked to my TETR.IO account, yet it's specified on browser Tetra Channel that there's a Reddit connection. Clicking on this connection will bring you to my Steam page. (See https://discord.com/channels/673303546107658242/1267578361253724291)
Twitch links break if your display name uses CJK characters
Users on Twitch that have their interface set to either Chinese, Japanese, or Korean have the ability to set their display name to anything in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean (in contrast to only modifying capitalization when on a language primarily targeting the English alphabet). Because TETR.IO pulls the display name as the basis for the Twitch link, this means that anyone with a CJK display name will have their Twitch connections linked to void pages, and because only the display name is shown on the connection, there's no way to retrieve the actual Twitch link for any user with a CJK display name.
Anyone else with similar observations are free to also use this thread for anything strange with the new social media connections
