#Custom room permanent ban
22 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
they're evading their permanent tetr.io bans, there's nothing a room host could do to go past our staff tools
it's in the account settings:

you can also use /clear to immediately remove the chat in rooms
or /clearall to do it for everyone if you're host
you can't ban someone when you don't even know their username—it always changes, doesn't it?
you can report them, because this it's always extremely apparent what's happening and they will be banned
yes, multiaccount is fine
Would IP banning from a room be feasible or is that too much if a host bans you from a room?
Just trying to get a sense of what's possible
to be blunt, that doesn't matter in this case
believe me they've caused like triple digit IP bans at this point
Gotcha
triple digit IP bans
is it among the lines of***.***.***.0/24
(or maybe ****:****:****::/48
||The VPN rule is only enforced upon abuse by a user, and Tetr.io's list of known open proxies is a lot shorter than that of Wikipedia's||
||proxy services come and go so||
the way i see it, the only reason we’re not harsher on vpn use is because there’s a handful of edge cases that need to be dealt with first
for example, wikipedia has IPBE, whereas we don’t
what's IPBE
ip block exemption
