#Forced manual targeting

osk hasn't yet implemented #1020069354366324766 because teams mode is sacrilege or anything. he hasn't because it's an unoriginal concept he wishes to iterate on
this option just sounds like a bad idea, butthurt hosts might use it to destroy someone's fun after winning a regular free for all round, or mischevious ones may simply turn the entire lobby against any
player or
local celebrity that joins, for instance
it's especially not great when you consider that tetr.io doesn't buff your attacks or delay them in any capacity when you're being targeted by many players. in fact, the game doesn't know who's targeting who, so payback sends garbage to only one player (the one who most recently sent you garbage)
i know you're expecting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTE4zEKtxkA but the truth is if you put 10
players against czsmall0402, if over half of them did benign PCO cz couldn't survive the 50+ rows of garbage without delays or generous blocking
cz against the world
cz wins
main idea was that you play 1v2 or 1v3 against your friends who are lower rated, I hadn't considered that this could be abused in public rooms. Maybe as a private room only setting?
Sure that could work
But manual targeting does exist
You could tell everyone to simply target that one player
I actually did this with my U rank friend and ICLY, vs 10pps zzztoj
zzztoj easily won
But that was partly because we kept forgetting to target it
One thing on that vid is that T99 garbage has a hardcap
yeah
So like, peeps can't just spam PCO, because excess garbage just discarded
Wait, Iirc there's TWO hardcaps...?
nah, garbage comes in exclusively per-attack
But like, isn't there garbage sent cap or smth?
in theory it's the same effect yeah, but forced cause some people have skill issue in brain and forget after one round xd
nah, if you're sent 15 rows of garbage in one attack and don't counter it all before it's allowed to enter your board, you will receive fifteen rows of garbage at the same time
it's identical to how it works in TE:C
iirc yeah an attack cant go above 20 no matter what i think?
which seems sorta random because the garbage queue is hardcapped at 12
so the effective cap is at 24 anyways
but yeah that does exist
(i think)
It can
The garbage entering the board might be limited
But there is no cap to how much you can send
