Honestly, these suggestions seem fine. Two little QoL changes and a suggestion that whilst it seems cheat-y on paper, in practice you can already start with whatever piece you want by just spamming restart. Adding a starting piece just makes it less tedious to get what you already want. PikaSip

i mean keeping the timer paused until the first input press was a thing suggested for zen mode

frankly i don't think it belongs in ranked modes like 40L

well it starts after the timer but b4 you can start and stuff

For point 1 I find the sounds off key when playing with certain songs in tetrio as well
