To a certain extent, it would keep your data like games,currency and cosmetics but it would wipe basic storage like games downloaded or videos on the headset, but if the “gorilla tag is not responding” issue doesn’t get fixed after multiple regular resets I would definitely recommend doing a factory reset and that should fix any hardware glitches, also make sure you have cloud saving on
