i wish the game wasn't so corporate, the first like year of the game when it was just caves canyon forest and city was the peak of the game because it didn't feel so forced. the community was full of kids (same as now) but it wasn't as bad as today. you'd maybe see 4 kids in your lobby but now it's rare to find someone above 12. the game used to be a lot less saturated, there wasn't a bunch of bright colors or flashy textures in every map. the new maps and features sounds good on paper but it's not good when it takes away from the original feel of the game

Lemming has said he would like to work on things in the future to make it so more people of similar skill levels are playing together in the meantime, if you find yourself in a room with a bunch of players you are way, way better than, just dont noob stomp. Its been explicitly clear in the rules from day one that you just can't be uncatchable which feels reasonably clear.

Games showing 0 players on line try the following:

On PCVR
Completely remove or rename your Gorilla Tag folder, and reinstall, usually found here:
STEAM: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gorilla Tag
META RIFT: C:\Program Files\Oculus

On Quest
First check your time setting are set to Auto and that the headset has the correct time.
If you can access ingame computer make sure the Troops tab is set to Default

Next step: Clearing the Appdata.
