my respect for gamedevs has increased drastically this is a nightmare

even making a reasonably okay map is such a pain

the only way i could figure out to make terrain was to make it in roblox studio and export it as a .obj

but that ended up making broken materials that i spent an hour figuring out how to fix

and it still looks awful because the grass at the bottom had to be replaced with rock

and the only way i can possibly think of to fix it is by painting on a texture in blender which sounds like such a pain because trying to use blender earlier genuinely gave me a migraine

Apparently there’s a thing called wire shark and it can apparently grab people’s ip from apps like discord and gorilla tag and some others

Doxxing can be an issue in any online activity, but the source is not from Gorilla Tag.
Many players are playing the 'Old Versions' put together by cheat and tracking creators, only play games with developers you trust.
When tracking was an issue its wasn't hard to find a player in GTag and use that info to scare them as they have all that info PlayerID, IP etc from their 'game'. Its not hard to find people when you have that info and get other information that's not in-game: addresses names, car number plates on street view etc.

Your IP is not visible to other players in the Game EVER

Anyone known to be linked to tracking have been banned, any one known to be doxing is banned.
If anyone does dox you in-game make sure you report them, and any evidence helps, If we identify the players doing this they don't get to remain in game.
