I found my sargo's completely exploded, not even lighting up anymore.

• I keep providing updates without testing (won't happen. I want to be able to debug.)
• I drop support for whole P3 serie (I would prefer avoiding it)
• I manage to find enough money (around $40) to repair it myself. (Already done it on an other device tbh)

I tried to use iconify for customizations, depth wallpaper, it crashed badly,even boot looped. So the dev requested for system UI APK. I sent it to him, he studied it and tried to fix the issue. Now he made a fix, depth wallpaper doesn't work after activating it anymore. So I have him another log, he said parent is returning as null, and that shouldn't be. He said I should try another rom. I tried lineage all customizations worked well. But I'm back to evox and it's still as it was

I'm curious what the difference between the 3/XL and 3a/XL is. It seems like all 4 phones are treated very similarly here, with roms by the same maintainer using only one phone (is that correct?). However, in PostmarketOS and Ubuntu Touch, 3a/XL has been well supported far longer than the 3/XL. Why is it the case that they are so similar in Android but not in Linux?

Ahh Yes,it isn't necessarily needed though most of the customizations are present in the rom itself...

3/xl, both have the same processor this also goes for 3a/xl. The difference in both xl versions 3xl and 3a xl is the screen size and battery size. All of the internal remains the same. And as for the maintainer being the same, ig onelots doesnt have p3 or p3xl, he ha sargo, onelots builds the rom for p3 and he asks if anyone(ojoruwa mostly) wants to test. Then when the rom testers say its good he uploads them on the evox website. Usually the person who is maintaing the device has the phone but onelots doesn't have it atm, he decided to pick up p3/xl for the community.

The support for devices depends on the maintainer, if there is no maintainer or the maintaner has left the rom community or if he decided to drop the device(usually because of no support from communty or it being too old that it has practically no users)

Hold down the power and volume down button until the device restarts. When the screen goes black release the power button and continue holding the volume down button. You are now in the bootloader from there select recovery by volume keys and press the power button to boot into it. If the screen stays blank after releasing the power button and holding the volume down button, release the volume down button also after 10 sec.

it is intended for some partitions we only read (product, system, vendor) (we can want to write system or vendor, for gapps flashing or other tweaks, that's why I only switched product to Erofs since anyway it's the biggest partition)

why is it genius ?

because it allows us to compress a partition
(for product for example : we went from 1Gb to around 700Mb if I remember correctly)
While being able to still read it when we need it. It decompresses on the go what we need to read, then compress it immediately
