• You're saying that nothing is from us, you're partially right, but Joey already explained it.
• We did a rebase recently, to go from AOSP to LoS. It improved the stability a lot, and EvoX is probably the most stable rom I know (and it's stabler than my stock EvoX.)
  Only this fact asks for a LOT of work, but you didn't see it. fine.
• Talk is cheap, send patches
• Just look for commits signed-off by Anierin or Joey and you'll understand at what point u're wrong...

And again, if it's open source and that we keep credits, and the license authorize it : why wouldn't we be able to pick some things ? why do you want us to create something already existing ?

the "linux kernel" used in android phones is not just the linux kernel from source. its heavily modified and tweaked, with lot of patches, to optimize efficiency and size for the special use case of mobile devices.
so, to update the kernel version on android phones, you need to apply all thoses patches to linux kenrnel version, which takes a lot of time and effort, and then test them heavily. All that for practically nothing, as newer kernel version would not bring a lot of things, and you have to do it again every few months for new kernel release

I found a bug: when clicking on Settings and going to the Network & Internet menu, the Settings app crashes. Additionally, the Buttons menu in Settings > Evolution > Buttons has no options to select.

then uninstall driver for your phone

then restart laptop and phone then try if the laptop recognizes the device
