I faced lots of trouble in February when my device got stuck in a boot loop. TWRP was also not working at that time; when I booted to TWRP, it always got stuck and rebooted. After installing HyperOS using fastboot, my device worked again.

I've never had a phone do that out of the box but only after extended usage

Imo I'm even using a 24/7 life360 GPS tracking app , and my drain isn't that high
You can always try apps like Greenify or servicely to put apps in sleep mode or force close them when you don't use your phone. Of course that is not for beginners and needs some setting up. Also updates like notifications might get delayed.

We been dealing with this for 5 years. I ignore people who blame high battery usage on the ROM unless they have something to back it up with (e.g a process constantly crashing in the background, or high usage of a system service) or I'm able to reproduce the issue myself.
If you want to waste your time flashing all the roms available, go for it. You will eventually come to the conclusion that most roms perform the exact same.

Only sometimes when a there's some heat the QS lags a lot. I know that's thermal throttling but it starts with a very small temp rise. It's not a bug, just a thing that can be improved. Also audio through the jack connector is not processed by dolby.

Hello, I happen to be experiencing an issue with the File Transfer via USB feature.
I've tried nearly every cable, along with using my laptop's USB-C, to no such avail. Also, ADB couldn't detect my device, as the devices list is blank, yet it did send out the usual permission prompt on the phone the first time I did it. Curiously though, out of all the USB configs, only PTP made the phone visible. I recently tried to check if I didn't update my firmware, but as I've checked, I do have the most recent one, so I guess it couldn't be it.
Has anyone encountered the same thing?

I am facing the same issue
When I select File Transfer mode in USB configuration, my pc fails to detect the storage in the file explorer. Even adb command doesn't recognize the device
But for now I have switched to PTP mode and using a 3rd party app called ADB Explorer to transfer file between phone and pc.
And yeah, adb command works when you put it anything other than File Transfer mode.
