What about making a small facility that will ping the surface and underground for wayward components that haven't been picked up, maybe make it where you can ping every 7 days or automate the ping and then if there are any supplies out from deconstructed items, it will send a message to drones to put them in their correct place?

uh... drones will already pick those up on their own, assuming you have some storage to put them into that allows drone delivery, and they're not currently busy with more important tasks?
