It would be a very nice drone AI optimization if you could make sure that if a contract is being filled by a conveyor-fed facility (ie Expedition Center/Flight Control Center) the drones don't waste their time hauling items that are already being delivered by belt. Yeah, that would be awesome but not very practical because then the AI would have to be able to understand your entire layout and intent.
Now if you could select which resources drones are allowed to deliver per module like the selecting on splitters, then I can see that being more feasible.
