I can only load the resources of 1 expedition at once. When I have a contract where I need to deliver 25,000 tons of resources to Earth, but I can only do 9,000 maximum and I need to prepare at least 3 delivery orders, it would be nice if I can prepare the resources for the follow-up deliveries (like a delivery queue).

Example: 400 Fuel + 1000 Steel (Using 9,000t containers)

  1. Delivery: 900 Steel
  2. Delivery: 100 Steel + 200 Fuel
  3. Delivery: 200 Fuel

You can immediately send 1000 Steel first (excessive amount go to the output conveyer belt). The first 900 can fly away while you already fill up the next 100. It is also possible to first send 400 Fuel for 2nd and 3rd delivery and then send 1000 Steel.

The number of delivery queues you can prepare per Expedition/Flight Control Center can be part of the research tree. You can still order 10 deliveries like you can do now (version 0.96.17), but only prepare for the current one + 0/1/2/3 next deliveries.

Finally, failing the order would send the resources out to the outlet conveyer belt (if present)

I don't understand why this wasn't a feature from the start
