you may need to demolish the building and rebuild it. providing a save with this issue may help them to prevent it in a later patch.

there was a bug with it awhile ago i have not seen it for seveal updates. was it a new save or an old one?

you fine the save folders in "%localappdata%/TheCrust/Saved/savegames" open the folder with the save matching the name you saved it as and just drag the files in here unzipped

umm. that is the default save location for the crust
