Description: The "Cancel Task" button only stops the truck from moving when on the Global Map. When the truck is in the base, the cancel button on the Cargo Truck UI panel does not stop a truck already in motion. The truck will be moving if it was previously told to move to a designated spot via the "Confirm cargo unload" pop-up banner, or the truck's UI panel's three buttons that can incorporate movement : a "Leave the base", b "Move", or c "Unload resources".
Workaround: To make the truck stop moving while in the base:
A Select the truck.
B Right click on a spot just in front of the truck. It will stop once it reaches the spot.
Repro steps:
0 The cargo truck is inside the base crater.
1 Select the truck.
2 On the truck's UI panel, click the "Leave the base" button.
Observe that the truck's UI panel says "Leaving the crater" above the battery readout.
3 Click the "X" / Cancel button.
Observe that the truck's UI panel says "Idle" above the battery readout. As expected, for cancellation.
Observe that the truck icon appears in the upper left corner of the screen. As expected, for cancellation.
Observe that the truck doesn't stop moving and instead continues to move towards the exit spot. Not expected.
4 Mouse-over the icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Observe that the tool-tip says "Cargo truck IDLE". Not expected when truck is moving.
5 Let the truck reach the 'exit base' spot.
Observe that the truck at least does not exit, as eventually expected.
