I think it would be way nicer to have the for oxide output on a single side of the multi regolith refinery.
the actual layout made it complex to connect with conveyor belt even with the advanced storage solution.
A "chain" design would be great with regolith input on the large opposite side of the oxide output and a slat waythroug on the small one..

I agree with @white haven just have the output belts be configurable like the cargo bay building and the elevator belts. I also agree with @red pond that the inputs should remain non-configurable.

Have you tried flipping, not rotating, the refinery? Makes configuration a moot point for efficiency, but not for OCD.

Configurable, sure, but definitely all outputs on one side, and same type passes through inputs on the other side (same way that slag is done) This would allow a much cleaner layout.
