#Condense Room Building

Upon getting the 'make a room' mission, I proceeded to lay out the room and begin the process of making it. Aside from the fact I couldn't get materials pretty quickly, the bots CRAWLED on building it.

Any chance that the whole room can just be condensed to one entity? Each airlocked section getting built on it's own or something?

I think A: it might allow for tuning/predicting costs easier, and B: Might simplify bots building them instead of making a tile and then wandering off.

Sorry I missed the punchline. It took so long for my bots to JUST build the room, that I got a warning I had 90 days to be ready, cause the colonists were coming before I even had 2/3 of the tiles built!

The problem is each tile needing to be fed 1/1 of two resources - that's 2 bot trips plus the bot building, and there's no way to condense it like there is with other buildings with hauler bots providing piles of resources while the other bots build. If building squares could be combined together into a multi-square entity that would help considerably.

it helps if you put a general storage platform next to your building to shorten the bot trips for the item dropoff, so that haulers can bring bulk resources close to the building to be broken out into short trips for by other bots

but I ran into similar behaviors when building a 18x17 room

Not being able to prioritize the construction is unfortunate too. Rooms really, really need to be treated as one entity.
