I think it would be very helpful if we had a mini map of the underground, once you dig it out to a certain extent it can get a little tricky to find the elevator again unless you just tab back up to surface and down again to reset view.

I agree , I too, would like to see a mini map window for underground. To see all the ore sites, poles, and belts, etc - to fine tune the lay out. I spend more time scrolling up and down to look at setups and then get turned around if I change the angle.
